The office was successfully moved this past weekend down to our new location on the ground floor in suite G17. Clients are currently being taken within this new office as planned. Overall, the new office space feels considerably quieter, cozier, and more convenient. It is a bit on the hot side due to being at ground-level and the building heat already being on for the season, but it's doable and pleasant with windows cracked. Things are still a bit in disarray as we continue to organize and put everything away from the move. Your patience is very much appreciated during this time of transition! Winter Vacation DatesThe office will be closed for Christmas Eve through New Years (12/24/25 - 1/4/26) for a minor holiday vacation. All non-urgent messages during that time will be returned when the office reopens. Happy holidays!
We are moving! We are moving the office this coming weekend (11/1/25) to room G17, a quieter two-room suite on the ground floor within the same 9 Green Street building the office is currently in. Here are the details:
Starting November 3rd, 2025, all clients should expect to visit the new ground-floor office space for their session. Please forgive a bit of clutter in both the old and new offices for the next couple weeks as we finagle through the space transition. Any updates from here will be posted on the website's News page if there are any. All clients will be reminded day-of via text message and/or e-mail of the new location for the next couple months. If you have any questions or trouble finding the space in the building, please feel free to call or reach out! Scheduling ChallengesA few changes are being made to help address long wait times for booking with Linette:
Session Cost IncreaseTo help compensate for the pay cut caused by reducing Workers' Comp, and also to meet with demand, inflation, and local competition, per-session prices will be rising from $90.00/hr to $100.00/hr starting January 1, 2026. Tips will still be gratefully accepted but are never obligatory. Cash and checks are preferred due to steep Square fees, but cards are always accepted. Pre-Winter ReminderDuring inclement weather or when it is expected, Linette typically leans towards rescheduling so all parties can stay safe. Please keep an eye on your phone and text messages if this is the case. Please do not feel pressured to drive in inclement weather; clients are not charged for rescheduling due to snow and may reach out for this purpose within the 24-hour cancellation window. Please give us as much notice as you can! Deactivating FacebookLinette will be deactivating the Kennebec Therapeutics Facebook page sometime in the near future due to lack of necessity and use. All news and updates will be communicated directly or posted here on the website as they have been. Upcoming VacationThe office will be closed from December 24th, 2025 through January 2, 2026 for an extended break over the holidays. All messages received during that time will be responded to upon return to the office. Thanks, and happy holidays!
As a note, the office will be closed the week of Labor Day, starting Friday, August 29th through Friday, September 5th, for personal time off.
Additionally, the office is currently closed to new clients, including new Workers' Compensation referrals, until at least the new year. If you would like to be put on a notification list for when we open up to new clients again, please reach out to the office with your your e-mail address. Thanks! Linette Hope everyone is doing well!
As a small note, I've updated the automated appointment reminder emails to be sent out 48 hours in advance, rather than the default 24 hours it was before. This gives people a bit more time to move things around, reach out to the office, or cancel/reschedule themselves through Online Booking without hitting the 24-hour cancellation fee window. I'd assumed it was a 48-hour reminder this whole time, so my apologies for that inconvenient overlap until now! Thanks! Linette New as of the end of May 2025, to resolve some ongoing issues with limited parking spaces throughout the lot, Kennebec Therapeutics now has two reserved parking spaces on the right side of the building as you enter, marked by signs and located beside the accessible parking spots. Feel free to utilize this spot and use the side entrance! The elevator and stairs are still accessible from the lower floor.
Additionally, June 1, 2025 marks one year since I (Linette) took over Kennebec Therapeutics as a first-time business owner, and moved into the Green Street space. It's been a very busy and eye-opening first year, and I find myself increasingly humbled with every day that passes by the understanding, generosity and ongoing business of my clients and the impact I am making in the lives of my community. Thank you all so much for your time, flexibility, and support! Kennebec Therapeutics will be closed from Monday, May 19 through Monday, May 26 for a small vacation. Messages will be returned starting Tuesday, May 27.
Additionally, starting June 1 through September 1, the business hours will alternate Fridays with Thursdays every week for the summer before returning to the normal Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule for the fall. Thanks! Linette With the holidays coming up, the office is closed the following days:
Looking for a holiday gift certificate? Please get in touch with the office by phone or e-mail to complete the transaction. Kennebec Therapeutics will be closed from Monday, October 21 through Friday, October 25, 2024, as Linette will be on vacation.
Voice messages and emails will be checked throughout the week, so feel free to leave a message as/where needed. Non-urgent messages will be returned the following week, starting October 28. Thanks! Linette As of October 2024, we are currently not accepting new private-pay clients, but anticipate doing so after the new year. Thank you for your understanding!
As a note, the bridge construction on Water St. recently finished and has opened up to two-way traffic again, making it slightly easier to reach the new Green Street office from that direction without having to detour through State Street to get here.
Hope this is helpful! -Linette |
